Miscellany

I’ve been heading over to Lake Los Carneros daily in hopes of getting better shots of the kittens.  Alas, the only bobcat sighting since last weekend was a brief glimpse of the mother as she streaked across the path early this morning.  However, the past week has not been boring.  An escaped / abandoned domestic rabbit was hanging out at the northern entrance for much of the week.  If it was friendly we would have caught it and brought it to a shelter, but it didn’t want anything to do with us.  The juvenile Cooper’s Hawks are improving their flying and I have taken way too many pictures of them.  A few of them will appear in another post.
